A black and white film used to promote the opening of Churchill Archives Centre in July 1973. It shows the entrance to Churchill College; exterior of Churchill Archives Centre; Victor Brown, Conservator, working on archives in the conservation workshop and using a press; the archives strong room, mobile shelving and boxes containing the Churchill Papers; and an exhibit in the Jock Colville Hall and close-up film of specific documents and photographs. Interview with Michael Hoskin, Fellow Librarian and Keeper of the Archives, on the work and aims of the Archives Centre, financial value of the collection, security precautions, and closed/sensitive material.
